Join the testers group

Membership in this Google Group is what unlocks the test for your account. Open it and tap Join group — no approval needed, you're in instantly.

Tap the blue button
Open the testers group

Don't see “Join group”? You're not signed in — tap Sign in in the top-right corner first, using the same Google account as your Play Store.

2

Become a tester

Now that you're in the group, Google needs one tap of consent to add you to the test. Open the opt-in page and tap Become a tester.

Open the opt-in page

Seeing “not currently available”? Step 1 hasn't registered yet, or you're on a different Google account. Double-check the account, wait a few minutes, and reload.

3

Install from Google Play

That's it — Room Robin now shows up for you on Google Play like any other app. The opt-in page from step 2 links straight to it, or use the button below.

Get it on Google Play

Please stay opted in while you use the app — closed-test rules require testers to stick around for at least 14 days before we can launch publicly. You're literally helping Room Robin hatch.

If something's off

“You don't have access” or “not accepting new testers”

Almost always an account mismatch: you joined the group with one Google account but your Play Store uses another. Check Play Store → your profile picture to see which account it uses, then redo step 1 with that account.

The app doesn't appear in Google Play

Complete step 2 first — joining the group alone isn't enough. After tapping Become a tester, the Play listing can take a few minutes to unlock.
